Job Description/Position Overview:

We are looking for a General Laborer to play a crucial role in supporting our operations in the field. As a General Laborer, you will work under the supervision of experienced technicians and foremen to assist with various tasks related to natural gas and water line installation, repair, and new construction projects. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the utility industry and grow within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and repair of natural gas and water lines.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment, including shovels, wrenches, and power tools.
• Excavate and backfill trenches as needed.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company safety policies at all times.
• Participate in safety meetings and training as required.
• Provide general support to the project team as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
